Nano: 4th Generation 8 GB?

Someone stole my ipod today so I decided i'd save up for a nano since the shuffle I had was sorta obsolete. I was wonderin gif the 4th gen 8gb Ipod Nano would be a good choice to buy (not the short one, the long one). I read somewhere that some of them catch fire though o-o. Also do they even still sell those? If so, where do you think I could go to buy a cheap one? Per say 150ish.
