Donna from Dr Who?

All I've heard is hate aobut Donna (Catherine Tate) as the new companion for the Doctor, but I actually really like her! A lot more than Martha, she was kind of shallow and not a very deep character. Dona just wants a friend, like the Doctor as far as I can tell. And it seems like they mesh well together.
