Am I overreacting? oppinions needed!!?

Its really not a big deal. His life doesn't revolve around you so its OK that he had other things to do. And he cant keep you informed of every move he is going to make, that becomes very smothering and can harm the relationship. You should just inform him for next time to let you know ahead of time so you can make your own plans and then drop it.
