Scion Tc With an K&N cold air intake system. does it make any woshing noise when accelerating on the road?

I had a K&N cold air intake system on my Toyota tundra and it made the cool noise when you accelerate at the higher RPS. I am curious if anyone has it and knows if it does make any sound?
